Saint Patick is a Christain missionary and bishop in Ireland. St Patrick's Day is the day to celebrate the fesitival of Ptrick. It is no longer the fesitival that only belongs to Ireland. Irish brings the great festival in Savannah. Parade will be held every March 17th, the traditional death date of Saint Patrick.
Green color represent the Catholics in Ireland. Instead of being picthed on the parade, Wearing green socks and accesories is the best choice.
You should go out early and find a nice seat to wait for the parade. It's also a good choice to preorder a sear in advance.
Don't miss the historical architectures the unique squares in downtown Savannah. Exploring the city by waling is the best way. So don't drive your car! Parking is a big problem especially for the big event.
