It kills more than 1 million people. As a result Irish Immigration came to America between 1845 and 1855. Most of them are poor, and many of them were suffering from starvation and diseases. More than 1.5 millions people immigrate from Ireland to New York, Boston, and other cities.

According to the survey conducted by American Community Survey, Ancestry of Irish in the United States is up to 10.6% in 2015, roughly 33.3 million people. The large amount of population provide the advantage of the widespread of the Irish festival.

What country start to celebrate it with great parade?

The first parade is held by New York City back to the year of 1762. It's not in Ireland but on the streets of lower Manhattan.
